Assignment Numero Uno

Last week as we sat around trying to figure out what our assignment for the upcoming week was, I listened as best as I could and realized we had to write a blog.  The blog is suppose to be about fashion (I think) so here is my attempt to write about fashion:

Since as of right now I am not a trend forecaster, I’m not going to write about what I think is going to be “in” for the summer or do something a little more drastic and try to predict next season.  Right now I’m just glad that people walk out of their house with clothes on.  I know its summer but not everyone has a summer body!  I’m simply going to write about my retail experience at my work place, just a few shout outs to things that make me ask myself:  Did they really just do that?

Shout out to people who think that Northpark is a swap market!  No sir, you cannot bargain the price of that Hurley shirt!  It cost 25 bucks, and that is what you will pay (before tax)

Shout out to people who know their jeans were not purchased at our store but will try to return them anyway, I don’t care if it is a birthday gift that your great grandma gave you!!

My last shout out is to people who bring their rowdy kids with them to shop, I understand that the mall is a place where families come to walk around.  But don’t expect your three year old to just sit around while you try on a million clothes.  They will start to get bored!

And that is all I have for now…

Peace

  6. LOVE this! The swap market comment is my favorite, working in retail, I love how everyone thinks they can bargain you for prices at any store. People try to do that to me at work and act like I can just change the price of anything. Gotta love retail!
